Computed Tomography

VMTH veterinary radiologists use specialized CT equipment and expertise to diagnose problems such as cancer, abnormalities of blood vessels, trauma, and musculoskeletal disorders. CT scans of internal organs, bone, soft tissue and blood vessels provide much more detail than conventional x-rays. In addition to assisting radiologists in determining a wide number of diagnoses, CT also helps them to plan and properly administer radiation treatments; guide biopsies and other minimally invasive procedures; and plan surgeries.
