Dr. Puchalski received her DVM from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1999. She completed a two year internship program in Equine Field Service and Sports Medicine at New Bolton Center, University of Pennsylvania, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania in 2001. She then completed a radiology residency at the University of California, Davis in 2005 gaining board certification in the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2004. She is currently an Assistant professor of diagnostic imaging in the Department of Surgical and Radiological Science in the School of Veterinary Medicine. Her clinical interests center around cross-sectional imaging of the horse and her research interests center around the imaging of orthopedic diseases particularly in the horse.
