
The School of Veterinary Medicine faculty invites veterinary technicians to the 4th Annual "Back to School" Veterinary Technician and Assistant Continuing Education Seminar July 23-24, 2011.
One-hour presentations in four tracks over two days will cover such topics as pediatric wellness, toxicological emergencies, transfusion basics, periodontal disease, obesity management and other issues from the perspective of the veterinary technician's duties. One track will emphasize large animal medicine. Grief counseling and suture techniques will be among several special workshop sessions.
The California Registered Veterinary Technician Association co-sponsors this day of learning.

The conference takes place in Gladys Valley Hall, UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, Davis, California.
Southern Californians who cannot travel may join us for televideo conferencing in Irvine or at the UC Veterinary Medical Center - San Diego for "Track 3" live, televised presentations.
