The school’s Center for Equine Health (CEH) won three awards recently at the American Horse Publications Annual Seminar in Colorado Springs for its quarterly newsletter, The Horse Report.
As part of the CEH’s mission to advance the health, well-being, performance and veterinary care of horses through research and education, the center distributes information generated from its scientific endeavors and its affiliation with the William R. Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital in publication formats that are easily accessible to both horse enthusiasts and veterinary professionals. In addition, annual specialty publications concentrate on an in-depth discussion of a single topic considered critically important to the horse industry.
Since 2005, the CEH has won awards almost every year in the Print Publications category. This year, the awards (for work completed in 2012) were all in the online/digital category and reflect an effort to bring excellence to the online version of The Horse Report.
