UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine is offering two hours of free continuing education on November 3. The course will be a part of the dedication ceremony for the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital's new TrueBeam linear accelerator.
"This machine is among the most advanced linear accelerators available, which will allow for better targeting of cancer in dog, cats, horses and the other animal species we treat," said Dr. Michael Kent.
This is the first TrueBeam linear accelerator to be used in veterinary medicine.
