Dean Lairmore was elected as a Distinguished Fellow in the National Academies of Practice (NAP) and as a Distinguished Scholar and Fellow in the NAP’s Veterinary Medicine Academy.
NAP is a non-profit organization founded in 1981 to advise governmental bodies on the nation’s healthcare system. Distinguished practitioners and scholars are elected by their peers from ten different health professions to join the multidisciplinary group of healthcare practitioners and scholars dedicated to supporting affordable, accessible, coordinated quality healthcare for all.
NAP Fellows are considered the most accomplished in their field. Induction into the NAP will take place during the Annual Meeting & Forum, to be held in Alexandria, VA in April 2014.
