Veterinarians of the Future

High school students are invited to attend Future Day—an annual event at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine on Saturday, April 19. Find out what the field of veterinary medicine has to offer in terms of a career and what it takes to prepare for application to the school.

The Veterinary Student Outreach (VSO) Club organizes this event every year for approximately 150 high school students to introduce them to veterinary medicine while giving them hands-on activities to enhance their experience. In addition, veterinary student members from the Canine Club, Feline Club, Pathology Club, Equine Club and many more will volunteer to spend their Saturday acting as ambassadors of the school to future veterinary students.

The day-long event (8:30am - 2:30pm) will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the School of Veterinary Medicine on the UC Davis campus. Future Day is free to students. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Click here for more information and to register. We look forward to seeing you there!

Please note: The event is geared toward high school students only.
