Public Welcome at Conservation/Veterinary Medicine Lectures

CONSERVATION BIOLOGY AND VETERINARY MEDICINE

SEMINAR INFORMATION - WINTER 2006

Dates and Time: Thursdays, 12 - 1 pm

Room: 170 Schalm Hall, located in the Health Sciences district of the UC Davis campus

Course Leader: Jonna Mazet, co-director of the Wildlife Health Center, School of Veterinary Medicine

This seminar course is designed to expose veterinary and graduate students interested in wildlife health to broad-based ecological perspectives in management, research, and field investigations involving wildlife populations. The emphasis is on current health issues with ecosystem conservation implications. Potential roles for veterinarians in the conservation arena will be discussed. 

Interested members of the public are invited to attend any or all of the presentations at no charge. Registration is not required. Visitor parking (fee) is available.
