You're invited: NIH veterinary specialist to speak on cancer metastasis biology and therapy
Chand Khanna DVM, PhD, DACVIM, of the National Institutes of Health, will present a seminar entitled "A Comparative Approach Towards Cancer Metastasis Biology and Therapy" on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 4 pm in the Bennett Conference Room at the Center for Companion Animal Health.
This free seminar is open to all university colleagues and students as well as interested members of the public.
Khanna is the head of the Tumor and Metastasis Biology Section, Comparative Oncology Program in the Pediatric Oncology Branch of the National Cancer Institute, one of the National Institutes of Health.
Khanna is a member of several cancer-related professional organizations, including the Veterinary Cancer Society and the American Association of Cancer Research.
The Center for Companion Animal Health is located at Garrod Drive and Veterinary Medicine Drive in the Health Sciences District on the UC Davis campus.
