You're invited: Find out why you should X-ray your horse's feet at the free Charles Heumphreus Lecture January 26
At 9 a.m. January 26, 2008, you can learn about lameness and foot disorders of horses at the free Charles Heumphreus Memorial Lecture, Schalm Lecture Hall 170, UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
The guest speaker is Richard A. Mansmann, VMD, PhD, Clinical Professor and Director, Equine Health Program, North Carolina State University. Dr. Mansmann will present the talk, "A lateral radiograph every horse, every foot, every year: How it helps veterinarians, farriers, owners and mostly horses!"
The presentation may be too technical for some audiences; however, members of the public are cordially invited to the event taking place 9 a.m.- noon. No registration is required. There is no charge for this event; however, donations are accepted.
