The following announcement was produced by the UC Davis Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association, which is hosting the annual veterinary conference for the first time in March 2011.
Join the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine as we welcome the national Student American Veterinary Medical Association (SAVMA) Symposium to the veterinary school campus beginning March 24, 2011.
This student-organized program will be bringing between 1,100 and 1,400 veterinary students from every veterinary school in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean, as well as international students from around the world.
For three days, students will be able to attend specialty lectures and wet labs on specific topics covered by highly recognized clinicians from around the world. This unique education experience will allow veterinary students to gain skills integral to their careers as practicing veterinarians.
