Larry Galuppo Interviewed about Stem Cell Treatments in Horses on UCTV

UCTV "State of Minds" presents a show February 28 covering a new research initiative on the safety and effectiveness of stem cells in humans and horses.

The report, featuring an interview with Larry Galuppo, a faculty member and equine surgeon at the William R. Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, concerns stem cell research collaborations taking place among faculty based at the School of Veterinary Medicine, the School of Medicine and the College of Engineering.

"State of Minds" is a magazine show produced by UC campuses and distributed by UCTV, based at the UC San Diego campus.

The program is available via scheduled broadcasts beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, February 28  and on an ongoing basis through a variety of satellite and cable channels.
