VMTRC seeks feed industry intern

The Veterinary Medicine Teaching and Research Center (VMTRC) – Tulare is seeking an intern for a feed industry fellowship in dairy nutrition with a focus on feeding systems.   The goal of this program is to train future leaders in feed manufacturing, dairy feeding systems, nutrient management and feed and food safety. Funded in part by the California Dairy Research Foundation (CDRF), it offers university graduates the opportunity to partner with feed manufacturers, feed companies and nutrition consultants.

The internship is offered for one year and will begin on July 1, 2015. Interns may be veterinarians, current feed industry personnel or recent graduates from animal science, dairy science or veterinary school that have a desire to work in dairy nutrition in California and are enrolled in graduate school.
