CE Opportunity at California Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps Spring Training

Join UC Davis veterinary faculty at California Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps Spring Training for CE credits.

Drs. Eric Davis and John Madigan will teach a course in Southern California on Sunday, March 13, that includes a table top exercise on Guidelines for Establishing an Emergency Animal Shelter.
Learn:
- The principles of the Incident Command System (ICS) and how they can fit into the response team.
- The most important viral, bacterial, and parasitic conditions that may become problems in a group of evacuated animals.
- Which diseases of domestic animals are most likely to be transmitted and how to prevent zoonosis.
- How to make plans for setting up a shelter, how to lay out a shelter, and provide for efficient flow of animals through the facility.
