HALI 

Health for Animals and Livelihood Improvement

Deana Clifford and pastoralists HALI is a collaborative US-Tanzania research and capacity-building program aimed at assessing the effects of zoonotic disease and water management on health and livelihoods in the Ruaha ecosystem, Tanzania.

Dr. Deana Clifford, pictured here with a Masai pastoralist and his family, is spending over two years in Tanzania studying the intersection of wildlife, people, and livestock, particularly focusing on water needs.
