Japanese Eelgrass (Zostera japonica)
	This introduced eelgrass has become widespread in the Northwest Straits area and usually can be found in the upper mid- tidal, generally higher than the native eelgrass Zostera marina. It has the potential to change mudflats into areas of rooted vegetation and may have impacts on native eelgrass.
