What we do

The Office for Academic Programs provides the academic support and resources for students during the DVM program. The Office works with faculty, staff and students and the areas of responsibility include:

    • Oversight of development, content, scheduling, examinations, course enrollment, use of animals in teaching
  • Teaching Facilities
    • Gladys Valley Hall, Multi-Purpose Teaching, Gourley Clinical Teaching Center, Anatomy
    • Reservations, AV Support, Renovations, Cleaning
  • Academic Support Services
    • Academic counseling, absences, tutoring, disability accommodations, planned educational leave program, pregnancy, rabies vaccination, diploma release, graduation lists and state & NAVLE board lists
  • Student Performance Standards
    • Academic & professional difficulties, code of conduct, attendance, examinations, grading, professionalism, course & instructor evaluations, technical, non-academic standards, academic & social misconduct
