Please join us as representatives from the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) and VMTH explain the Vet Med Loan Repayment Program (VMLRP) and the mentorship and training available to potential applicants to the program.
Dr. Marissa Silva, DVM is the team lead for the Antimicrobial Use and Stewardship branch of the CDFA. She has successfully mentored applicants for VMLRP funding. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Cal Poly - SLO, and a DVM from University College Dubin.
Dr. Bret McNabb is an Associate Professor and Director of the Large Animal Clinic with the the UCD VMTH. He holds DVM and MPVM degrees from UC Davis and serves as the food animal/livestock faculty mentor for the DVM Clinical Education Committee.
