[Wildlife and Aquatic Animal Medicine Club] Marine Mammal Necropsy Wet Lab

The Marine Mammal Necropsy Wet Lab through Wildlife and Aquatic Animal Medicine Club (WAAM) is a hands-on educational workshop where students will examine a deceased marine mammal to learn about its anatomy, physiology, and potential cause of death. Guided by Dr. Sinnott (UC-Davis boarded anatomic pathology specialist), students will perform a systematic necropsy in a controlled, sterile environment. This lab emphasizes scientific techniques and offers valuable experience in pathology, data collection, and marine biology.
