About the Weekend

Alumni Weekend provides an opportunity for our alumni to reconnect and reflect with fellow classmates and take a walk down memory lane here at the UC Davis Weill School of Veterinary Medicine!

• Celebrate milestone reunions with the classes of 1971, 1976, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006 and 2016.
• Explore campus with Vet Med Complex Tours led by current students.
• Be inspired by your peers at the Alumni Awards Banquet.
• Join in on the fun at the Halloween TG & Costume Pet Parade.

Registration Information

What's included in the $160 early-bird registration fee:

• Food & drinks at the Friday night TG BBQ
• Access to one hour CE at the Schalm Lecture on Saturday
• Saturday morning Brunch & Class Photos
• Beer, wine, hors d'oeuvres & live music at the Alumni Happy Hour
• 3 course dinner at the Alumni Reunion & Awards Banquet
• Veterinary Medicine Complex tours on Sunday

Add-on's not included in reunion registration fee:

• Various Class Gatherings - fees vary

Cancellations & Refunds 
Cancellations must be in writing and emailed to [email protected]. Cancellations made on or before Sept. 30, 2026 will be refunded less a $50 processing fee.
Cancellations made on or after Oct. 1, 2026 are **NON-REFUNDABLE** and will be used to offset the school’s expenses for the event.

FAQ's

• When does Reunion start?
• We officially begin reunion weekend with the all-school TG on Friday evening at 5 PM. Check out the schedule of events for additional details.
• When is my class gathering?
• Class gatherings are happening throughout the weekend, however we have designated time after the TG on Friday night, and in the afternoon on Sunday for classes to plan events. Watch the schedule of events for updates, or reach out to your Class Ambassadors if you have questions.
• My class is not celebrating a milestone reunion year, can I still come to Reunion Weekend?
• Absolutely! We welcome any alumni to attend the events of the weekend, your class just may not have a designated class gathering planned.
• Can I bring my pet and/or children with me to Reunion Weekend?
• While pets are welcome at most of reunion events, please DO NOT bring pets (unless they are working service animals) to the Cocktail Hour & Banquet Awards on Saturday evening at the Activities and Recreation Center.
  
  Guests of all ages are welcome! We only ask that children under 8 refrain from attending the banquet.
  Cost: $150 for guests 18+, $75 for guests 9-17, free for guests 8 and under.
• What is the dress code for the banquet on Saturday evening?
• The banquet dinner will be "cocktail" attire; however we want you to be comfortable in whatever you choose to wear.
• How do I park on campus?

• Please see below for a map of visitor parking areas on campus. 
  
  Friday night: Park in LOT 56 (map; Google directions) off of Health Sciences Drive (behind Aggie Stadium).  Parking is complimentary, but you must obtain a permit! To claim your permit: 
  - Navigate to UC Davis Transportation Services (https:/ucdavis.aimsparking.com/) and click on SPECIAL EVENT PARKING
  - Click GROUP / DEPARTMENTAL EVENTS and select “Vet Med Alumni Reunion Weekend”
  - Enter Coupon Code: VMA25 and click Confirm
  - Select the permit for $0.00, ADD the vehicle it will be assigned to, and click to agree to the Terms of Service
  - Checkout when ready for the $0 balance, and watch for a confirmation email which will be sent within a few minutes of completing the transaction
  - There is no need to print or display anything in your vehicle. Permits are valid in unrestricted C zone spaces in Lot 56 until 10:00pm. If you have any questions or issues regarding your purchase, contact Transportation Services at 530-752-8277.

  Saturday evening: For the Awards Dinner, park in LOT 25 and walk to the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC) Ballroom. (Map). Parking is complimentary, no permit required. 
  
  If driving on campus, keep in mind no cars are allowed in the heart of campus and many roads are closed to car traffic. Plan accordingly and refer to the campus map for car-free streets.
