Join Pathology Club and BMAW for a joint lunch talk about veterinary forensic investigations at the ASPCA! Forensic veterinarian Dr. Elizabeth Pearlman will be discussing general lesions associated with welfare cases, the process of sample submission, and how forensic veterinarians collaborate with the pathology team at the ASPCA. She will also discuss the ASPCA Veterinary Forensic Science Center Externship in Gainesville Florida and the ASPCA NYC Forensic Sciences Externship, where 3rd and 4th year veterinary students can spend 2-4 weeks learning about how to handle cases of animal cruelty and neglect.
