[Avian and Exotic Medicine Club (AEMC) x VEG ER For Pets] Exotic ER Presentations and IO Catheter Placement

Dinner talk in Valley 1043 from 5-6pm followed by wet-lab in Gourley from 6-7:30pm

Please join VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group) ER for Pets and Avian and Exotics Medicine Club (AEMC) for an exciting dinner talk and wet-lab focused on helping our exotic pet friends in emergency situations! We will be joined by the fantastic UCD faculty Dr. Amada Wong, DVM, MS, DACZM as well as VEG ER clinicians Dr. Hanie Elfenbein, Dr. Hayley Wehrfritz, and Dr. Gracie Lintz. We will begin with a dinner lecture from 5-6pm in Valley 1043 covering common emergency exotic presentations and technical IO catheter placement technique, followed by a hands-on wet-lab in Gorley from 6-7:30pm practicing IO catheter placement in chickens, rabbits, rats, and guinea pigs.
