Mini Bootcamp – Parasiticide and Vector-Borne Disease

Join Dr. Jane Sykes and Dr. Erin Lashnits for a practical, case-based session on recognizing, diagnosing, and preventing canine and feline vector-borne diseases caused by bacteria, protozoa, and parasites. Using cases from UC Davis, NC State, and the University of Wisconsin, they will highlight key clinicopathologic findings, interpretation of point-of-care and laboratory diagnostic tests, and factors that influence how parasiticide prevention programs should be tailored to regional vectors and pathogens.
