[VBMA] Navigating Non-Clinical Careers in Veterinary Medicine

The Veterinary Business Management Association is hosting a lunch talk with Dr. Ricky Walther, a Class of 2020 graduate from UC Davis' School of Veterinary Medicine. While in school, he was the VBMA Chapter President as well as the 2019 National President for the VBMA. During his career, he has been an associate small animal veterinarian, a medical director, and now serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Pawlicy Advisor (a pet insurance marketplace). He will share his story about how the leadership skills learned in the VBMA have helped shape his career and will provide a unique perspective on the various non-clinical roles and opportunities available to us with our veterinary degree.
