Laboratory Updates

7/7/2025: Due to staffing changes, most in-house parasitology services services are temporarily unavailable. During this time, samples will be referred to external reference laboratories — with the exception of DFA/IFA and Heartworm testing, which will continue to be performed in-house.

We appreciate your understanding during this transition and will provide updates as services are restored. For questions, please contact us at 530-752-8684 or UCDVetClinicalLabs@ucdavis.edu. Thank you for your continued support.

8/23/2024: As of September 13th, we will no longer offer OFA Thyroid Panel testing. We apologize for this inconvenience.

11/30/2023:  We are no longer offering myoglobin testing due to manufacturer discontinuation.

10/26/2021: FedEx has changed some of their delivery commitments and implemented peak season surcharges on some shipments. More info can be found here.
