Hematology & Cytology
The Hematology and Cytology sections of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine’s Clinical Diagnostic Laboratories are staffed by four clinical pathologists, all of whom are board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP), Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLSs), and hospital laboratory technicians (HLTs). The hematology department provides service to the hospital’s veterinarians and veterinarians of California, the United States, and other countries, and we accept samples from all non-human species. We also support the diverse research community of UC Davis and other public and private entities. Testing for research can be tailored to meet specific study needs.
