Entry Period

- Starts on Friday, January 13, 2023
- Ends on Friday, February 10, 2023 at midnight PST
School of Veterinary Medicine Voting Period
- Starts on Monday, March 6, 2023
- Ends on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at midnight PST
Winner Announcements
The poster design with the most votes will be deemed as the grand prize winner. Their poster design will be showcased on all the 75th Anniversary School of Veterinary Medicine posters, and the winner will obtain the grand prize pack. In addition, contest entrants with the 2nd and 3rd most votes will win prize packs. All prizes are listed in prizing section.
All winners will be notified through their UC Davis email followed by an announcement to the school on Thursday, March 9, 2023.
ELIGIBILITY
This contest is open to all currently enrolled UC Davis students who have a valid UC Davis email account.
Odds of winning are dependent on the number of entrants. Inquiries about entrants, winners, and other related matters may be directed to the School of Veterinary Medicine Office of Advancement at svmadvancement@ucdavis.edu.
POSTER DESIGN REQUIREMENTS
- Ideal Resolution: 3600 x 5400px or 12 x 18in
- Must includes the statements: "UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine" AND "75th Anniversary"
- Must represent the school, animals, students, research, and teaching
- Poster Design submitted for the competition entry must meet the two requirements for design file type and design file naming convention:
- Design file submitted for entry MUST USE the following file naming convention: "Last Name_First Name_Class Year.jpg"
- Design file submitted for entry MUST USE a .jpeg (JPG) file format - no other file types or formats will be accepted.

- Doe_Jane_2024.jpeg
- Doe_John_2025.jpeg
- File name examples:
Entries that do not meet these aforementioned requirements are ineligible submissions and will not be entered in this contest or be eligible to win any prizes.

HOW TO ENTER
Participants may enter the competition individually or as a group (no more than 3 people).
Individual and group submissions may enter only one poster design file. The design must be your original work and must not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity rights, ownership, or any other legal or moral rights of any third party. Poster design files containing any content that does not support the Principles of Community, including nudity, drugs, or alcohol, will not be considered as eligible entries.
You will be asked to enter the following when submitting your entry form:

- Graduation Year
- Upload Poster Design
Through your participation in this competition, you are providing your information to UC Davis. By your participation in this Contest, you agree to release UC Davis from any liability related to the competition.
By participating in the contest, should your entry win first, second or third place, you are agreeing to allow UC Davis to use and reproduce your winning entry, in whole or in part, in any of its marketing and communications, without limitations or restrictions. As creator, you also retain your rights to use your work as you wish.
Information provided will not be retained, sold, or used in any way other than specifically set for in these rules.
