Advanced GWAS tutorial in Golden Retriever dogs

The Golden Retriever Lifetime Study (GRLS) is one of the largest, most comprehensive prospective canine health studies in the United States. The Study’s purpose is to identify the nutritional, environmental, lifestyle and genetic risk factors for cancer and other diseases in Golden Retriever dogs. In this workshop, we will have hands-on training on a genome wide association analysis using the GRLS datasets. Effective participation in the workshop allows you to submit a follow up proposal to finish your GWAS analysis. In the follow up project, you will gain access to the most complete version of the phenotypic data. Also, you can get computational resources, bioinformatic support, and extra funding for a small sequencing project if needed.
