Event Date
The Dog n’ Jog 5K will take place on Saturday, March 30th. The course itself will take you from the vet campus through main campus and back. Event check in will begin at 8:00 a.m., the race starts at 9:00 a.m. sharp and will conclude with snacks and a photo op from 11 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Participants are welcome to run or walk with or without their dogs. Prizes will be given to 1st-3rd place. Event is open to all UC Davis students, faculty, and friends/family of UC Davis affiliates.
The event will be fundraising for the Students for One Health club. One Health is a concept that recognizes the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. We believe that by bringing people and their pets together in a healthy activity, we can promote physical and mental health for both humans and animals and raise awareness about One Health. Tickets to run with or without a dog will be $20 flat. All dog participants will receive a bandana, water will be provided along the route, and small snacks will be provided at the end.
