[FARM] Hopland Lambing Trip

NOTE: Student club and organization events are limited to current UC Davis Veterinary Medicine students who are registered SAVMA members. Additionally, many club and organization events are further restricted to club members who have paid their respective club dues.

Food Animal Reproduction and Medicine (FARM) Club members will be able to stay for one night at the Hopland Research & Extension Center in order to gain hands-on experience with lambing. This includes being able to learn techniques related to identification, castration, docking, and anything else needed in order to maintain lamb health and welfare. They will also be able to work with mature and/or pregnant ewes in order to gain experience in herd health and management. Students will be under the supervision of the flock manager and will have the opportunity to ask questions.
