International Big Cat Alliance: Its Formation and Potential Impact for Big Cat Conservation Lecture

Presented by the California Animal Health & Food Safety Lab System and the Wildlife Health Center. The speaker will be Dr. S.P. Yadav. Dr. Yadav has served as an officer of the Indian Forest Service for the past 35 years and is currently working as the Director General of the International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA). IBCA was recently established as a coalition of range/non-range countries and partner organizations for the conservation of the 7 big cats viz. Tiger, Lion, Leopard, Snow Leopard, Cheetah, Jaguar and Puma.
