[sPVMC] Dr. Dane Whitaker on Being LGBTQ+ in Vet Med- Current Challenges and How to Face Them

Former PRIDEVMC president, Dr. Dane Whitaker, will talk about his personal story as a transgender veterinarian. He will share what it was like to go through veterinary school and out into practice while pursuing one’s authentic self followed by a discussion about how the current national crisis facing LGBTQ+ identified folks is specifically affecting veterinary students and professionals. He will also discuss how PrideVMC is empowering members and allies to meet this crisis.
