Outlining veterinary industry tested strategies to help DVM's and practices use social media as a means to engage pet parents. As healthcare becomes increasingly consumer driven, social media serves as a way to connect with pet parents, and often times a rating system through which consumers decide if a particular veterinary practice might be the best place for their pet to receive care. This discussion will provide insight into how the largest veterinary practices leverage social media to engage consumers as pet parents discerningly select among care providers.
