Sandy and Joan Weill allocated $80 million of their transformative gift to launch the next phase of the Veterinary Medical Complex: a new Small Animal Hospital. Their generosity has set the vision in motion, with fundraising now under way to bring the project fully to life.

The new modern facility will expand access to lifesaving care, reduce wait times for critical treatment, and integrate advanced technologies that set a new standard in veterinary medicine, ensuring more animals receive the exceptional care they deserve.

Dr. Michael Mison, Associate Dean for Veterinary Medical Center Operations/Chief Veterinary Medical Officer (CVMO) of the William R. Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH), shared his gratitude for the gift and its potential for the future of veterinary care:
