Data Summary

Overall in the U.S. at 99.4% of the testing sites lead was not detected in the groundwater. At 9.3% of the testing sites, lead was detected a concentration ranging between 1 to 7.5 micrograms per liter. At 0.4% of the testing sites, lead was detected at a concentration of 7.5 to 15 micrograms per liter. At 0.2% of the testing sites, lead was detected at a concentration of greater than 15 micrograms per liter.
