Support UC Davis Veterinary Medicine Today for Giving Tuesday

You can support the health of raptors, orcas, horses and other species today through Giving Tuesday, the global movement that reimagines a world built upon shared humanity and radical generosity. Your gift helps support the animals and ecosystems that we cherish and rely on for our shared health.

California Raptor Center

The California Raptor Center, a part of the school’s Wildlife Health Center, has been rescuing and rehabilitating birds of prey for 50 years. The center also conducts education, training and science, including recently opening a new vulture exhibit made possible by donors.

Consider joining the other volunteers and donors who support the center every day.

Equine Performance and Rehabilitation Center

What if you could optimize your horse’s future performance?

It takes a village to care for the performance horse, and the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine has been proud to serve horse owners and the equine industry with cutting-edge clinical treatment and solution-oriented research for more than 50 years. This #GivingTuesday we look to the future of equine veterinary education, research, and outreach with The Equine Performance and Rehabilitation Center (EPRC), part of the future Veterinary Medical Center.

The EPRC will feature world-class services such as gait analysis, advanced diagnostic tools, and an equine underwater treadmill. Experts from a variety of fields will come together to tailor injury prevention, diagnostics, treatment, recovery, and return to performance to your horse’s individual needs, increasing comfort and optimizing performance. Importantly, the EPRC will enable us to send future veterinarians out into the equine community armed with advanced training in this rapidly expanding field.

SeaDoc Society

Did you know that UC Davis has an organization working to heal the sea? The SeaDoc Society, headquartered in Washington State, works to ensure the health of marine wildlife and their ecosystems through science and education. The work they do in the Salish Sea - or the shared waters of the U.S. and Canada that stretch from Olympia into British Columbia - has implications for the health all of our oceans.

And for Giving Tuesday, your impact is doubled, thanks to an anonymous donor who will match every donation up to $50,000!

It takes a community of heroes—educators, scientists, youth, and supporters like you—to ensure the health of this ecosystem, now and for the future. Join us in creating a healthy future for people and marine wildlife with your gift today.
