Support UC Davis Veterinary Medicine on Give Day

It’s nearly time to cheer on your favorite Dachshund at UC Davis Picnic Day on April 15! Second-year DVM students host the annual Doxie Derby (12-2 pm) where dozens of Dachshunds ("doxies") race after a simulated rabbit to prove who is the "top dog." Doors open at 11 a.m. and tickets are required for entry. Tickets are free and available online in advance (space is limited).

UC Davis Veterinary Medicine will once again have a table at Hutchison Field in the animal activities area. View Picnic Day schedule here.

The campus will also be celebrating Give Day; the veterinary school will be promoting several funds.
