[WAAM] Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue Field Trip

NOTE: Student club and organization events are limited to current UC Davis Veterinary Medicine students who are registered SAVMA members. Additionally, many club and organization events are further restricted to club members who have paid their respective club dues.

Come to Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue and learn about their wildlife rehabilitation efforts as well as their projects on the interface of human-wildlife interactions. Students will receive a guided tour by Dr. Dan Famini of the rehabilitation facilities and hospital where they work with raptors, aquatic mammals, rodents, and more! Students may also be able to visit the live demonstration area of integrated pest management for local farmers.
WAAM field trips visit a variety of zoos, aquaria, wildlife rehabilitation centers, and other facilities related to wildlife and aquatic medicine to allow students to gain further understanding and network with professionals in the field. Students must be paid WAAM members to join field trips. Limited space is available on each field trip.
