Teaching Tune-up: Writing Multiple Choice Questions

NOTE: Student club and organization events are limited to current UC Davis Veterinary Medicine students who are registered SAVMA members. Additionally, many club and organization events are further restricted to club members who have paid their respective club dues.

“Teaching Tune-up” is a focused 20-minute session on a single teaching topic. The sessions are held during the noon hour and start 20 minutes after the hour (12:20pm) and end 20 minutes to the hour (12:40pm). Sessions consist of content delivery, short exercises, application ideas, and group sharing if time permits. These are introductory sessions that give instructors one teaching item to work on at a time, slowly building their teaching “toolbox”. Based on the interest in these “tune-up” sessions, more extensive workshops can be scheduled to extend topics.
