Dr. Saum Hadi is a 2020 DVM graduate from Oregon State University in 2020 and the owner of Nimbus Pet Hospital, a a new “de novo” small animal clinic in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Hadi was also the national president of VBMA in 2017-2018 and has worked closely with students from different vet schools since graduation. He recently opened his first veterinary clinic two years ago and has had first hand experience navigating the highly rewarding process of becoming a business owner. Dr. Hadi is extremely passionate about helping students explore a career in small animal business ownership and will primarily be discussing topics pertinent to building a business, including key steps that he took as a vet student, new associate, and eventually a prospective owner of his clinic.
