Event Date

Location
South Parking Lot of the VMTH across from the lameness arena/farrier shop.

Hosted by both EMC and sVERT, this wet-lab will emphasize the basic know how when it comes to moving large animals. We will have multiple types of horse trailers on-site, and will go over differences in how to load horses and other stock in each safely. Driving demos will be given, and the basics of driving a trailer will be discussed (due to safety concerns, no participants will be driving but it is still handy to hear the run down). This lab will focus on equine loading, however, these principals are widely applicable to other large animals and are extremely valuable in a large animal disaster setting!
