[AEMC] Exotics House Calls Lunch Talk with Dr. Sip

Join AEMC for a lunch talk with Dr. Linda Siperstein (Dr. Sip) about exotic animal house-call medicine! Dr. Sip is a Bay Area veterinarian with a special interest in exotic and small animal medicine and surgery, treating species ranging from rabbits and guinea pigs to birds, reptiles, ferrets, and other exotic pets. Through her mobile practice, she provides veterinary care directly in patients’ homes, allowing her to reduce patient stress while also evaluating husbandry and the animal’s environment firsthand. Dr. Sip will share her experiences building an exotics house-call practice and discuss the unique opportunities, challenges, and considerations involved in providing mobile veterinary care to exotic species.
