Research Focus
  • My primary research focus centers on understanding the cellular basis and pathobiological roles of platelet signalling, neutrophil-platelet interaction leading to neutrophil extracellular trap (NET) formation in sepsis and sepsis-associated organ failure in companion animals. My research interest also includes platelet activation, thrombosis and anti-platelet therapy monitoring in feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy as a large animal model for familial human hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Specialty focus: small animal emergency and critical care, immunothrombosis, thrombosis and hemostasis in critical illness.
