Research Focus
My training as a veterinary clinical microbiologist fits well with my research interests and allows me to gain perspective on the laboratory challenges in diagnosis of infectious disease. My research focuses on applied projects that investigate antimicrobial resistance in companion animals, antimicrobial prescribing practices, chronic bacterial infections (particularly urinary tract and ear infections), shared human-animal bacterial pathogens, and use of diagnostic materials for research purposes.
Specialty Focus
Clinical veterinary microbiology
