Research Focus
My research combines observational data, field and laboratory experiments, and statistical modeling to broaden understanding of aquatic ecology. I am particularly interested in environmental problems that can be addressed through the application of ecology.
Specialty Focus
My specialties include 1) stream ecology, 2) behavioral ecology, 3) estuarine ecology, 4) aquatic invertebrate taxonomy and behavior, 5) drivers of pelagic productivity, 6) biomarkers of fish health and condition, 7) statistical modeling and analysis.
