Anatomy, Physiology & Cell Biology
My laboratory focuses on platelet physiology and the role of platelets in health and disease. We are particularly interested in the contribution of platelets to the systemic, cardiac and pulmonary proinflammatory responses to air pollution. Additionally we are focused on the use of platelets and platelet rich plasma in therapeutic regenerative medicine.
