The Advanced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Course: Mandibulectomy, Maxillectomy and Miscellaneous ‘ectomies’, hosted by the Center for Continuing Professional Education, is designed to enhance your understanding and technical skills in oral and maxillofacial oncological procedures, combining lectures with hands-on training to reinforce techniques discussed. It covers clinically important topics and common surgical conditions in veterinary oral and maxillofacial surgery practice, followed by practical training on common scenarios, such as managing oral tumors, performing mandibulectomies and maxillectomies using piezosurgery technology, and applying flap procedures for soft tissue reconstruction.
