UC Davis Professors Honored by American College of Veterinary Pathologists

Three UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine faculty members were recently honored by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists. Drs. Linda Lowenstine and James MacLachlan were recognized as a distinguished members, while Dr. H. L. Shivraprasad was recognized as an honorary member. 

Kate Hopper Honored with 2019 Faculty Distinguished Teaching Award

UC Davis Receives $845 Million in Research Funding: Vet Med Garners Top Award

UC Davis nearly matched its record level of annual research funding in 2018-19, receiving $845.5 million in grants and contracts. Last year’s top award of $34.9 million from the California Department of Food and Agriculture went to the veterinary school's California Animal Health & Food Safety Laboratory System, which safeguards public health by providing diagnoses for animal diseases, including those affecting humans. 

Dr. Ashley Hill Honored with AVES Honorary Diploma

Congratulations to Dr. Ashley Hill who was recently awarded a 2019 Honorary Diploma from the American Veterinary Epidemiology Society (AVES). She received the award at the annual meeting of the American Veterinary Medical Association in Washington, D.C.
