An alumni community focused on emergency preparedness
The former Veterinary Emergency Response Team, now the California Veterinary Emergency Team, has had a long history of providing exceptional and compassionate care to animals and their families during times of disaster. Many students, faculty, donors and friends have been involved with various aspects of the services VERT and CVET provide. From developing plans, protocols and procedures, to offering training and real-life veterinary response efforts, the teams have had tremendous impacts on communities throughout California.
