About Us

The Office for Academic Programs provides the academic support and resources for the DVM program. The Office works with faculty, staff and students and the areas of responsibility include:

  • DVM Curriculum
    • Oversight of development, tracking learning outcomes, lab support, scheduling, examinations, course enrollment, and use of animals in teaching
  • Teaching Facilities
    • Gladys Valley Hall, Multi-Purpose Teaching, Gourley Clinical Teaching Center, and Anatomy
    • Reservations, audiovisual support, renovations, cleaning
  • Academic Support Services
    • Academic counseling, absences, tutoring, disability accommodations, learning assessment, medical requirements, planned educational leave program, filing for the degree, state and NAVLE board lists, teaching awards
  • Student Performance Standards
    • Academic and professional standards, code of conduct, attendance, examinations, grading, course and instructor evaluations
  • Curricular Applications
    • Canvas, CREST, CTS, ExamSoft, and educational surveys
